Alive She Died was a Minimal Wave band formed in 1984 in Athens, Greece. They made their debut live performance at Πήγασος (Pigasos) in Athens on March 1, 1985. The same year, they released their tape titled "Viva Voce." The band disbanded in the summer of 1987, after which the members went on to form other projects. In 2015, their cover of Joy Division's "She's Lost Control" was featured in a Gucci commercial. In 2017, their sole tape was re-issued along with some unreleased tracks. The line-up consisted of Daphne Gerogianni (vocals, lyrics), Xenofon Xenios (composer, keyboards, drum programming), George Ginis (keyboards, sounds), and Tina Goudi (bass).
