Allan Holdsworth was a renowned guitarist and composer, born on August 6, 1946, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. He passed away on April 16, 2017, in Vista, California, USA. Best known for his contributions to jazz fusion, Holdsworth was inducted into Guitar Player Magazine's hall of fame and was a five-time winner of the magazine's readers' poll. He was also recognized in Musician Magazine's list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
