Alpha Orion is a unique project known for its 1984 promo-only album, of which only 200 copies were produced. It has been established that these promo copies were not distributed or given away, as the distributor discarded them in the 1990s, leaving approximately 20 copies in existence. The involvement of already hyped acts R.E.K. and Dieter Kolb adds to the allure of this release, making it one of the most sought-after items in the minimal synth collector community. Notably, no artists are mentioned on the cover, a detail that was clarified by chance.
