Alphonse Mouzon (November 21, 1948 – December 25, 2016) was an American jazz-fusion drummer and percussionist, born in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a founding member of a notable group and served as the CEO of another organization. In addition to his work as a musician, Mouzon was also a composer, arranger, producer, and actor.
