Altrice is a producer and DJ from Tucson, Arizona, known for their captivating sound. The artist gained recognition in 2010 with an exhilarating remix of Caribou's "Sun" from the acclaimed album "Swim." This remix, titled "Only What You Gave Me," won a public competition launched by Caribou, also known as Dan Snaith. Following this success, Altrice created a track-by-track remix project called "Stem," utilizing the stems from each song on "Swim." Since then, Altrice has continued to evolve, remixing tracks for Radiohead in 2011 and releasing various mixtapes and collaborations. Recently, Altrice has returned with promising solo material, including the singles "bda creature" and "places faces," released in June and July through Snaith's label, Jiaolong. These tracks mark a reintroduction to Altrice's meticulous yet freewheeling style of dance music.
