Alípio Martins (February 5, 1944 - March 24, 1997) was a Brazilian singer known for his contributions to Lambada and Brega music. Born in Belém, PA, he ran away from home at the age of 15, spending over 30 days on a ship traveling to Rio de Janeiro. During this journey, he was discovered by a sailor but managed to convince the crew of his dreams. Although he was accompanied by three friends, they did not continue with him. Alípio achieved fame with hits such as "Vem Me Amar," "Onde Andará Você," and "Garota." He passed away in 1997 in Pará due to stomach complications.
