Amabano was a prominent group of ten musicians from Burundi and Congo, active from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. They are recognized as the most popular and influential band in Burundi's history, known for their innovative blend of musical styles, craftsmanship, and vision of a unified Burundi. In 1987, they released their only international album in the Soviet Union, although it was produced in limited numbers. Their legacy continues to be remembered today.
