Ambidextrous, whose real name is Ambydextrous, is a veteran of Russian electronic music with nearly half a dozen releases, including both solo and group projects. He has participated in numerous club and festival gigs throughout his career. Initially focused on IDM and releasing music on various European labels, he has recently shifted his experimentation towards dance music. With an encyclopedic knowledge of electronic music, he skillfully blends styles and sounds from different eras. In line with his name, which means "a person who can use both hands," Ambidextrous manages to juggle multiple activities simultaneously. He gives lectures to students, writes for musical journals, promotes indie music with colleagues from the promo group Avant, organizes parties with the Rave Diggers formation, and is involved in three additional music projects: an ethno-trip-hop band, a psychedelic downtempo band, and a guitar ambient band.
