Ana Maria Mazzotti Santos, known as Ana Mazzotti, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter and jazz-funk pianist born on August 17, 1950, in Caxias do Sul, RS. She was married to drummer and musical producer Romildo Teixeira Santos. Early in her career, she founded and performed in a Beatles cover band, played in the tropicalista group Conjunto Merseybeat, and was a member of the dance group Conjunto Desenvolvimento. Ana Mazzotti passed away prematurely from cancer on January 20, 1988, in São Paulo, SP, at the age of 37.
