Anderson .Paak, born Brandon Paak Anderson on February 8, 1986, is an American musician and record producer from Oxnard, California. He released his debut album, O.B.E. Vol. 1, in 2012 under the pseudonym Breezy Lovejoy. In 2014, he released his second album, Venice, under his current stage name. His third album, Malibu, released in 2016, received a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammy Awards. Paak is also one-half of a musical duo alongside a record producer and is accompanied by a band that plays various instruments and serves as backing vocalists. In 2021, he collaborated with another artist to form a superduo.
