Andre Berry is a Manchester-born hairdresser, DJ, and musician. He began his career as a hairdresser at Gareth & Colin, a salon co-owned by Gareth Evans, who later managed The Stone Roses. Berry operated his own salon, "Swing," which held the Factory catalogue number Fac 98, first in a basement and later on Oldham Street, from late 1983 until the mid-1990s. He was also one of the early DJs in the area. In the mid-1990s, he moved to London to continue his work as a hairdresser. Since 2007, he has been living in Sydney, where he runs his salon, Viva.
