André Ceccarelli, also known as "Dédé," is a French jazz drummer born on January 5, 1946, in Nice, France. He moved to Paris in 1960, where he began his musical career playing with "Les Chats Sauvages" in the 1960s. Ceccarelli has been a prominent figure in jazz since 1987 and was awarded the Great Jazz Award by the French copyright management society Sacem in 1998. He is also a father.
