Andre Nickatina is an American underground hardcore rapper from San Francisco, California, who has been active in the underground hip hop scene since the early 1990s. He first appeared on the Bay Area rap scene in 1993 as a member of the group Ill Mannered Posse. Following the release of I.M.P's album "Back in the Days," Nickatina released his solo album "The New Jim Jones." His first album released under the name Andre Nickatina was "Raven in My Eyes." Over the years, he has released nine solo albums, an amateur film, and several albums with fellow local rappers. He also made significant contributions to the film and soundtrack for the 2005 documentary "The Gift." Nickatina heads his own record label, Fillmoe Coleman Records. In 2005, he was nominated for Underground Album of the Year for his album "Bullets, Blunts In Ah Big Bankroll" and won the award for Underground Artist of the Year at the Bay Area Hip Hop Awards.
