Andre Popp was a French composer, songwriter, arranger, and conductor, born on February 19, 1924, in Fontenay-le-Comte, Vendée, France. He passed away on May 10, 2014, in Puteaux, France. Since the 1950s, Popp played his own works with his orchestra, accompanied French singers, and composed scores for movies and television programs. He is also well-known for his series "Les aventures de Piccolo Saxo," which introduces children to instruments and classical music.
