Andreas Dorau is a German musician born on January 19, 1964. At the age of 15, he wrote the song "Fred vom Jupiter" as a school project, which was released in 1981 and became a significant underground hit in the German New Wave movement known as "Neue Deutsche Welle." He studied at the film university in Munich, where he developed his skills as a soundtrack composer and video editor. In the early 1990s, Dorau pursued a solo music career after participating in various bands and short projects. In the 2010s, he released his first of many solo albums, which charted in Germany.
