Andrey Vinogradov is a Russian hurdy-gurdy performer, composer, and arranger, born in the Northern Urals. He received his musical education in composition and piano at a prestigious music school in Yekaterinburg and furthered his studies in jazz piano at the Gnessin School in Moscow under the renowned jazz pianist and composer Igor Bril. Throughout his career, Andrey has collaborated with many famous Russian musicians. Currently, he plays a unique hurdy-gurdy instrument (Viola) crafted by a distinguished master from Vienna, Austria, and he is recognized as the only professional hurdy-gurdy player in Russia.
