**Andy Gibb** Born on March 5, 1958, in Manchester, England, Andy Gibb was a soul pop singer and teen idol. He was the youngest brother of the family whose other members formed the Bee Gees. Six months after his birth, his family moved to Redcliffe, north of Brisbane, Australia. In June 1974, Gibb formed his first group, Melody Fayre, in the Isle of Man, named after a Bee Gees song. At the urging of his brother Barry, the band relocated to Australia, as Barry believed it would be a good training ground for Gibb's career. Gibb launched a successful solo career in 1976, recording three solo albums between 1977 and 1980. He received Grammy nominations for Best New Artist of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance for his hit "I Just Want To Be Your Everything." One of his notable collaborations was a duet for the single "I Can't Help It" in 1980. His last single was a cover of "All I Have To Do Is Dream," featuring his then-girlfriend, an actress. Andy Gibb passed away on March 10, 1988, due to a heart ailment.
