Angel Rada is an electronic music artist based in Portamar, Venezuela. Born on October 9, 1948, in La Habana, Cuba, he was brought to Venezuela at the age of one. In 1970, he played keyboards for the Venezuelan band Gas Light, contributing to several singles and original music for a movie. Rada studied at the German Friederiann Universitat in Munich in 1973 and later pursued Electronic Music at the Musik Hochschule in Munich around 1978. He released his first album in Europe in 1979 and subsequently returned to Venezuela, where he has produced dozens of albums and performed in various venues across Venezuela, Europe, and even held a concert in Tokyo.
