Angela Bofil was an American soul, jazz, and R&B singer and songwriter, born on May 2, 1954, in the Bronx, New York City. She gained recognition for her powerful voice and emotive performances. Bofil's signature song was "I Try," but she also recorded popular dance hits such as "Too Tough," "Angel Of The Night," and "Something About You." In 1984, she dueted for the ballad "You're A Special Part Of Me." Angela Bofil passed away on June 13, 2024, in Vallejo, California.
