Angelina Camarillo, known simply as Angelina, is an American singer and songwriter born on February 10, 1978, in Union City, California. She is recognized as the "Latin Queen of Dance" and is best known for her debut hit single "Release Me," which reached number 7 on the Billboard chart in 1996. Following this success, she released several singles including "I Don't Need Your Love," "Without Your Love," and "Tide Is High," the latter featuring a music video showcasing her dance skills. In 1997, Angelina released her debut album titled "The Album." Although a remix album was planned, it never came to fruition. In 1999, she released the single "Bailando," which was nominated for a Latin Billboard Music Award. Additional singles followed, and she collaborated with fellow artists, including Nasty Boy Klick. Her third album, "Love Ain't Here No More," was released in 2003, featuring popular tracks such as "Ever Since The First Time" and "Caliente." Despite plans for a greatest hits album, it was not released. Angelina was part of a trio project called New Ridaz, which released a self-titled debut album. In 2009, she made a comeback with the single "Don't Stop," although subsequent singles were not officially released. Now married to personal fitness trainer Anthony Ramos, Angelina has shifted her focus to teaching and has recorded new music for a comeback album.
