Anglo-Saxon Brown was formed in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., emerging from a previous band. The group included members on lead vocals, keyboards and vocals, vocals and guitar, drums (Tyrone Durham), trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, sax (Charles Manns), bass, keyboards and producer, and percussion. In 1979, the core of the band renamed themselves.
