Ani was a promoter, singer, and dance lecturer, known for her work as the owner of Yin-Sight Management, which promoted Detroit artists globally. She was highly respected for her passionate dedication to Detroit music. Tragically, Ani suffered a stroke during the last weekend of September and passed away from a brain aneurysm on the evening of October 1, 2002, at the age of 44.
