Ann Margret is a Swedish-born American actress and singer, born on April 28, 1941, in Oscars parish, Stockholm. She moved to Valsjöbyn, Jämtland County, Sweden, in 1942 and later relocated to the United States with her family in 1946, growing up in Wilmette, Illinois. Ann was discovered singing in a nightclub and was often referred to as a "sex-kitten" and the "female Elvis." She was married from 1967 until her husband's death in 2017.
