Anna Calvi is a British singer, songwriter, and recording artist, born on September 24, 1980, in Twickenham, London, England. She released her self-titled album in 2011 and was nominated for several prestigious awards, including the BBC Sound Of 2011 list, the Mercury Music Awards in 2011 and 2019, the EBBA Awards in 2012, and the BRIT Awards in 2012. Calvi played with a notable group from 2006 to 2008.
