Annea Lockwood, born on July 29, 1939, in New Zealand, is a notable composer who moved to England in 1961. She studied composition at the Royal College of Music in London and pursued courses in electronic music with Gottfried Michael Koenig. Lockwood is an Emerita Professor at Vassar College.
