Annie Ross was an English jazz singer and actress, born on July 25, 1930, in Mitcham, Surrey, England. She passed away on July 21, 2020, in Manhattan, New York. Taken to Los Angeles in 1933 by her aunt, she became a successful child film actress. In 1947, she traveled to Europe to perform in cabarets and with bands, returning to the United States in 1950. She sang in a trio and later returned to England in 1962, where she worked as both a singer and an actress. In 1985, she moved back to the United States.
