Anode Cathode is an anonymous group formed by members from various backgrounds. They released a 7" in 1981 featuring material created between 1975 and 1977. Their work, titled ‘Punkanachrock,’ stands as a significant example of the Japanese DIY counterculture of the late '70s and early '80s. The group is closely associated with the elusive Fifth Column, a near-mythical unit reportedly centered around Yoshiaki Kinno, also known as Onnyk, whose contributions can be found on Insane Music and Vanity Records.
