**Bio: ANTI** Coming from the ashes of PPF, ANTI was formed in 1981 and had their first concert in Ilioupoli in 1982. The group consisted of Kostas Agelidis (vocals, keyboards, lyrics), Mimis Diplas (bass), Kostas Panagopoulos (keyboards), and a drum machine named Manolis. The band got their name when Agelidis attempted to write it on the back of his jacket but left no space for the other words except "ANTI." Their first recorded appearance was on the Greek new wave compilation "Συνταγή Αντί Θανάτου" with the track "Σταμάτα Να Μιλάς Για Θάνατο." In the same year, they released a D.I.Y. cassette that included 10 songs, two inserts, and a piece of gum, with lyrics centered around socio-political issues, and the cover created by Panagopoulos using photocopies from magazines of the era. On February 1, 1987, they performed live at Cat's Meaw Club in Athens. In 1987, they released another independent tape titled "Club Αχάριστα Παιδιά," which featured the tracks "Εκπαιδευτικός Παροξυσμός" and "Αχάριστα Παιδιά."
