Stefan Schwander, known by his stage name Antonelli Electr, has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene in Düsseldorf since the mid-1990s. He produces music under various pseudonyms, including A Rocket in Dub, Repeat Orchestra, Rhythm Maker, Pop Up (in collaboration with Jörg Burger), Swimming Pool (with Michael Scheibenreiter), Harmonious Thelonious, and While My Sequencer Gently Weeps. Antonelli's music is influenced by a diverse range of genres, including techno, disco (notably the works of Giorgio Moroder), new wave, dub, abstract electronica, and African music.
