Archers of Loaf is an American rock band hailing from North Carolina, formed in 1991. The band disbanded in 1998, after which Eric Bachmann pursued solo projects, while Matt Gentling supported other bands during tours. In 2011, the group reformed, performing at various concerts and making a television appearance. In a 2018 interview, Eric Bachmann expressed that all members of Archers of Loaf are interested in creating a new record, stating, "Oh yeah, everybody wants to do it — I just have to write the songs."
