Aroma Di Amore was a Belgian post-wave band formed in 1982, featuring core members Elvis Peeters (vocals), Fred Angst (guitar), and Lo Meulen (bass). The band quickly gained recognition after reaching the finals of Humo's Rock Rally. Over their four-decade career, Aroma Di Amore made a significant impact on Belgium's rock history, culminating in a farewell concert at the Brussels AB in 2022. They released six albums, numerous maxi and mini singles, compilations, and performed hundreds of gigs across Belgium and Europe. Known for their uncompromising and original post-wave music, they reinvented themselves multiple times and were appreciated by fans and the press alike. In 2018, they were featured in an exhibition about Flemish and Dutch music, and in 2022, a reissue box containing all their eighties records, titled Zwarte Doos (Black Box), was released.
