Arp-Life is a studio ensemble formed in January 1976, initiated by Mateusz Święcicki and Andrzej Korzyński, later joined by conductor, composer, and arranger Maciej Śniegocki. Affiliated with Polish Radio and TV, the group utilizes advanced studio equipment, including multi-tracks and sound deformation, to create their music. Their modern sound blends electronic percussion instruments with strings, brass, and a vocal group, producing music that aligns with the discotheque genre, which the members find relaxing. The repertoire primarily features original works by the founding members and arrangements of popular hits from both the present and recent past. All recordings are managed by sound engineer Andrzej Malczewski. The name "Arp-Life" was inspired by the ARP synthesizer, a key component of the group's initial instrumental lineup.
