ARP Life is a studio ensemble formed in January 1976 at the suggestion of Mateusz Święcicki and Andrzej Korzyński. Shortly after, Maciej Śniegocki joined as the conductor, composer, and arranger. The group is affiliated with Polish Radio and TV, utilizing advanced studio equipment such as multi-tracks and sound deformation in their recordings. Their modern sound is characterized by an electronic set of percussion instruments, complemented by strings, brass, and a vocal group. The music produced by ARP Life is primarily in the style of discotheque, which the members find most relaxing. Their repertoire mainly consists of original pieces by the founding members and arrangements of popular hits from both the present and recent past. All recordings are engineered by Andrzej Malczewski, who collaborates closely with the group. The name "ARP Life" was inspired by the ARP company's synthesizer, one of the electronic devices integral to the group's initial instrumental lineup.
