Mori Wa Ikiteiru (森は生きている) was a Japanese band originally formed as a five-piece group, later expanding to six members. The band consisted of Takuro Okada on guitars, Satoshi Takekawa as the main vocalist and playing guitars and bass, Yu Taniguchi on keyboards, Kazuhiko Masumura on drums and percussion, and Junya Okubo on wind instruments. Over time, the band saw the addition of Naohiro Takeda on keyboards and accordion, and Ryo Kobayashi on bass. Mori Wa Ikiteiru disbanded in December 2015.
