Sally Mae, born サリー・メイ in Kyoto on February 13, 1948, was a Japanese model, singer, and actress. She began her career in 1963 by joining the idol chorus group Sharp Hawks but withdrew before their record debut in 1966. Transitioning to acting in 1968, she adopted the stage name Sally Mae. In 1969, she debuted as a solo singer and was briefly married to professional baseball pitcher Shizuo Shiraishi of the Hiroshima Carp. Sally Mae retired around 1975 and passed away sometime in the late 1980s, with the exact date unknown.
