Asher D, born Ashley Walters on June 30, 1982, in Peckham, London, England, is a British rapper, producer, actor, and artist. He is best known musically as Asher D for his work with a grime/garage collective from Battersea, South London, which gained popularity with their hit track in 2001. Walters attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School and later became a prominent actor, starring in several London-based films such as "Bullet Boy" (2004) and "Sugarhouse" (2007). He is most recently recognized for his leading role in the long-running international TV series "Top Boy," which aired from 2011 to 2023.
