Atomic Rooster is an English rock band that was originally formed in 1969 by former members of other groups. The primary songwriter and keyboardist was the only constant member throughout the band's history. Atomic Rooster was initially active from 1969 to 1975 and again from 1980 to 1983. In 2016, a new line-up of Atomic Rooster was formed with the permission of the widow of their founding member, Crane.
