Atoms Family is a hip hop collective established in 1995, initially comprising over 30 members from the tri-state area. They gained recognition by performing at open mics, participating in local showcases, and engaging in ciphers on the streets of New York City. In 1996, members Cryptic One, Whichcraft, and Molecule recorded and released the first official project from the Atoms collective, an EP titled "Beyond Human Comprehension" by Centa of da Web. This release marked the beginning of Atoms Family's journey beyond the local NYC hip hop scene and led to an impressive decade-long discography.
