Au Bonheur des Dames was a French rock band formed in the 1970s, likely named after the classic novel by Émile Zola. They made their debut concert in January 1972 at Le Golf-Drouot and gained recognition by performing at the first edition of the renowned music festival Le Printemps De Bourges in 1977. The band became more or less inactive after 1987 but made a comeback in 1997 with two concerts at the Olympia, leading to the release of a live album. In October 2006, they returned once again with a concert at the Grand Rex. Au Bonheur des Dames is best known for their song "Oh Les Filles," which reached the Top 10 in France.
