Ausgang Verboten was a band from Malmö, Sweden, formed in 1983 by 16-year-old Patrik Book, who was heavily influenced by Kraftwerk. Jesper Hanning later joined the band, and together they performed a few gigs with friends and produced an 8-track demo tape titled "Entertainment" in 1984. This demo was re-released as an album in 2004 in a limited edition of 500 copies. One of the tracks from the album, "Consumer," was also featured in a Swedish synth compilation. Patrik Book primarily composed the music, while Jesper Hanning provided the vocals.
