Ausschwitss was a Punk/New Wave band formed in 1981 in Patissia, Athens, Greece. They made their live debut on February 13, 1982, at Aretousa Club in Athens, performing alongside other bands. The group played numerous gigs, primarily at “Sophita” in Athens, where they showcased their original songs, featuring lyrics mainly in Greek, as well as covers of various artists. They recorded a few live performances and a demo consisting of two songs, which was released as a 7" in 2012. In 1983, they changed their band's name. The members of Ausschwitss included: - Dimitris Stamatiou (guitar, vocals) - Dimitris Chorianopoulos (bass guitar, vocals) - Spyros Floros (drums) - Costas Papakitsos (keyboards) - Nikos Anastasopopoulos (vocals), who was later replaced by Raphael, who eventually left the band.
