Autopsia is a depersonalized art project focused on music and visual production, originating in London in the late 1970s and continuing through the 1980s in art centers of the former Yugoslavia. Since 1990, Autopsia has been based in Prague. The project has released a dozen MCs and, following 1989, twenty CDs, initially for a label in Amsterdam, then for a German label, and later for a London label. Autopsia's music is featured on numerous compilations worldwide, and one of its compositions is part of the soundtrack for Peter Greenaway's film "Pillow Book." The music production is complemented by extensive graphic work, including original graphic objects, flyer designs, booklets, CDs, and the website autopsia.net, along with its extensions, Autopsia TV and Illuminating Technologies. Collaborators associated with Autopsia include Karl Ružička, I.n.Cognito, V.Kapsa, Zlatko Sakulski, and Ivan Vlatković.
