Autumns is an electronic post-punk project that blends elements of dub and sound experimentation. Known for its whip-cracked rhythms, heavily affected vocals, and no-wave guitars processed through dub techniques, Autumns delivers a high-intensity live show using minimal equipment for maximum impact. The project emerged in 2014 on Karl O'Connor's (aka Regis) Downwards label, joining a vanguard of artists such as Tropic of Cancer and Samuel Kerridge. With a prolific output, Autumns has released music on Detriti, Death & Leisure, and Opal Tapes, exploring genres like dysfunctional metal dance and DIY punk angst. The project has also ventured into unique collaborations, performing alongside Samuel Kerridge at the 2016 Paris Fashion Week, creating a sound installation at Void Gallery in 2019, and improvising a live score for David Lynch's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in 2016. In addition to a busy touring and release schedule, Autumns curates a monthly radio show, Dyslexia Sound System, on Bristol's Noods Radio, featuring a mix of favorite artists, solo material, and guest mixes from friends.
