Ave Sangria is a Brazilian psychedelic rock group known as one of the main exponents of the 1970s psychedelic music scene in Pernambuco. The band, initially called Tamarineira Village, changed its name following a suggestion from a gypsy encountered by the members in the interior of Paraíba. The lineup includes Marco Polo (vocals), Ivson Wanderley (lead and acoustic guitars), Paulo Raphael (rhythm and acoustic guitars, synthesizers, vocals), Almir de Oliveira (bass), Israel Semente (drums), and Agrício Noya (percussion). They are recognized alongside other notable artists such as Alceu Valença, Flaviola e o Bando do Sol, Lula Côrtes, Marconi Notaro, and Lailson.
