Axas was a heavy rock band formed in 1974 in Deer Creek, Indiana. The band was active throughout the 1970s until their disbandment in 1980. The lineup included Rex Crockett on guitars, bass, and vocals; Kenny Holcomb on bass and vocals, known for his work in Lucifer, Good Bye America, and Axas Live; Bill Carbaugh on guitars, keyboards, and vocals; Alex Parkevich on drums, cowbell, tambourine, and bell; Dan Shank on guitars and keyboards; and Tom Myer on bass, guitars, and vocals, who was also associated with Broken Dreams.
