Azealia Banks is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on May 31, 1991, in Harlem, New York. She developed an interest in musical theatre at a young age, rehearsing plays with a schoolmate. Banks studied at the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts before ultimately dropping out to pursue her musical career.
