Bag People were a group of musicians from Chicago who emerged during the early 1980s NYC post-punk and no-wave scene. The lineup included Algis Kizys, who was involved in various projects such as Swans, Of Cabbages and Kings, Foetus, and Branca, and had previously played with Problem Dogs. Carolyn Master and Diane Wlezien were also part of the group, both having connections to Of Cabbages and Kings and Branca. Gaylene Goudreau joined after her time with Da!, and they were accompanied by a drummer named Peter.
