Bamboo Zoo, formed around 1980, is a cult post-punk band comprised of members Mick Duffy, Russ Entwistle, Joe Duffy, and Gordon Holden. They released an LP titled 'Look, Listen, Consume' and a single called "Ghost Party." The band gained recognition from BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who played tracks from their album and invited them to record a radio session in London. Both the LP and single have since become highly collectible and sought after. Russ Entwistle was responsible for most of the guitar arrangements, while Mick Duffy wrote the majority of the lyrics. Joe Duffy and Gordon Holden also contributed significantly to the band's music.
