Banco de Gaia is a music producer from Leamington Spa, UK, originally started as a solo project by Toby Marks. Known for creating a diverse range of dance and chill-out music, Banco de Gaia often incorporates tribal samples into his work. After releasing several tape-only albums, he gained wider recognition when he signed with Planet Dog. In 1997, Banco de Gaia expanded into a band and later established the Disco Gecko label.
