Band Apart was a New York duo active around 1983, consisting of US vocalist Jayne Bliss and Marseille musician Medor Mader. Jayne Bliss was known for her very personal lyrics, while Mader played guitars and keyboards. He had previously collaborated with Hector Zazou on various projects, including the notorious La Perversita album.
